About the Owner
Ricardo (Ricky) is a filmmaker, photographer, and the owner of RGZ Productions LLC. He specializes in crafting compelling wedding, commercial, and social media content that tells a unique story. With every project, his passion for visual storytelling drives him to create authentic, engaging experiences that resonate.
His journey into filmmaking began in 2015 with the creation of fitness content and music videos. In 2017, he produced a history documentary for a high school project that went on to compete at the state level, sparking a deeper passion for the art. By his senior year in 2019, he founded RGZ Productions, focusing on capturing family events and special moments. He graduated from UW-Milwaukee in 2022 with a degree in Film, Video, Animation & New Genres, further honing his craft and expanding his creative vision.
Ricky is happily married to his high school sweetheart, Wendy, who occasionally assists on wedding shoots and provides a fresh perspective on his work. Together, they have a 13-year-old Schweenie (Shih Tzu and Dachshund mix) who loves cuddles and belly rubs. Outside of work, he enjoys staying active, reading, and relaxing with his wife while watching shows and movies.
He has a particular passion for capturing weddings, especially on video, as it allows him to transform a couple's big day into a beautiful fairy tale. As a husband himself, he deeply connects with the excitement and emotions of couples on their wedding day, which enables him to capture and craft their love and happiness in the most authentic and meaningful way.
